A nd David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God—my God— will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.

Davide disse quindi a suo figlio Salomone: «Sii forte e coraggioso e mettiti al lavoro, non temere e non sgomentarti, perché l'Eterno DIO il mio DIO, sarà con te. Egli non ti lascerà e non ti abbandonerà, finché non avrai terminato tutto il lavoro per il servizio della casa dell'Eterno.
