T hen David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven, having in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem. So David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell on their faces.


Davidi me sytë e ngritur, pa engjëllin e Zotit që rrinte midis tokës dhe qiellit me në dorë një shpatë të zhveshur dhe të drejtuar mbi Jeruzalem. Atëherë Davidi dhe pleqtë, të veshur me thasë, ranë përmbys me fytyrë për tokë.
