A nd Gedaliah took an oath before them and their men, and said to them, “Do not be afraid of the servants of the Chaldeans. Dwell in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.”

Entonces Gedalías les hizo juramento, á ellos y á los suyos, y díjoles: No temáis de ser siervos de los Caldeos; habitad en la tierra, y servid al rey de Babilonia, y os irá bien.
