B ut Jehosheba, the daughter of King Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him away from among the king’s sons who were being murdered; and they hid him and his nurse in the bedroom, from Athaliah, so that he was not killed.

Pero Josaba, hija del rey Joram, hermana de Ocozías, tomó a Joás, hijo de Ocozías, y lo sacó furtivamente de entre los hijos del rey a quienes estaban dando muerte, y lo puso a él y a su nodriza en la alcoba. Así lo escondieron de Atalía, y no le dieron muerte.
