N othing was in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

Il n'y avait dans l'arche que les deux tables de pierre, que Moïse y déposa en Horeb, lorsque l'Éternel fit alliance avec les enfants d'Israël, à leur sortie du pays d'Égypte.
