N ow the men were watching closely to see whether any sign of mercy would come from him; and they quickly grasped at this word and said, “Your brother Ben-Hadad.” So he said, “Go, bring him.” Then Ben-Hadad came out to him; and he had him come up into the chariot.

Los oficiales que fueron a ver al rey Ajab tomaron como buena señal estas palabras, y respondieron: «Tu hermano Ben Adad está vivo.» Ajab les dijo: «Quiero verlo. Vayan por él.» Ben Adad se presentó entonces ante Ajab, y éste lo invitó a subirse a su carro.
