A nd King Solomon answered and said to his mother, “Now why do you ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? Ask for him the kingdom also—for he is my older brother—for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.”

Le roi Salomon répondit à sa mère: Pourquoi demandes-tu Abischag, la Sunamite, pour Adonija? Demande donc la royauté pour lui, -car il est mon frère aîné, -pour lui, pour le sacrificateur Abiathar, et pour Joab, fils de Tseruja!
