N ow when Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had come to David, he fell on his face and prostrated himself. Then David said, “Mephibosheth?” And he answered, “Here is your servant!”

Cosí Mefibosceth, figlio di Gionathan, figlio di Saul venne da Davide, si gettò con la faccia a terra e si prostrò Davide disse: «Mefibosceth!». Egli rispose: «Ecco il tuo servo!».
