T hen Abner sent messengers on his behalf to David, saying, “Whose is the land?” saying also, “Make your covenant with me, and indeed my hand shall be with you to bring all Israel to you.”

Entonces envió Abner mensajeros a David para que de su parte le dijeran: «¿De quién es la tierra?» Y también: «Haz pacto conmigo, y mi mano estará contigo para que vuelva a ti todo Israel.»
