N ow when Ahithophel saw that his advice was not followed, he saddled a donkey, and arose and went home to his house, to his city. Then he put his household in order, and hanged himself, and died; and he was buried in his father’s tomb.

A-hi-tô-phe thấy người ta không theo mưu của mình, bèn thắng lừa, trở về thành mình, và vào trong nhà người. Sau khi người đã sắp đặt việc mình rồi, thì tự thắt cổ mà chết. Người ta chôn người trong mộ của cha người.
