T hen she said, “Please let the king remember the Lord your God, and do not permit the avenger of blood to destroy anymore, lest they destroy my son.” And he said, “ As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”

Allora lei disse: «Ti prego, invochi il re come testimone il Signore, il tuo Dio, perché il vendicatore del sangue non aumenti la rovina e non mi uccidano il figlio». Egli rispose: «Com’è vero che il Signore vive, non cadrà a terra un capello di tuo figlio».
