B ut when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him.

وَرَأى إخْوَتُهُ أنَّ أباهُمْ يُحِبُّهُ أكْثَرَ مِنْهُمْ جَمِيعاً. فَأبغَضُوا يُوسُفَ، وَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَقْدِرُونَ أنْ يَتَكَلَّمُوا مَعَهُ بِلُطْفٍ.
