Genesis 37:22 ~ Genesi 37:22

A nd Reuben said to them, “Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit which is in the wilderness, and do not lay a hand on him”—that he might deliver him out of their hands, and bring him back to his father.

Poi Ruben aggiunse: «Non spargete sangue; gettatelo in quella cisterna che è nel deserto, ma non lo colpisca la vostra mano». Diceva così per liberarlo dalle loro mani e restituirlo a suo padre.
