C hief Magdiel, and Chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom, according to their dwelling places in the land of their possession. Esau was the father of the Edomites.

Magdiel e Irã. Foram esses os chefes de Edom; cada um deles fixou-se numa região da terra que ocuparam. Os edomitas eram descendentes de Esaú.
