A nd he called the name of that place Bethel; but the name of that city had been Luz previously.

وَسَمَّى ذَلِكَ المَكانَ بَيتَ إيلَ. وَكانَ اسْمُ المَدِينَةِ لُوزَ قَبلَ ذَلِكَ.
