A nd as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.

Quanto a Ismaele, io ti ho esaudito. Ecco, io l’ho benedetto e farò in modo che si moltiplichi e si accresca straordinariamente. Egli genererà dodici prìncipi e io farò di lui una grande nazione.
