N ow the Valley of Siddim was full of asphalt pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled; some fell there, and the remainder fled to the mountains.

Ora, o vale de Sidim era cheio de poços de betume e, quando os reis de Sodoma e de Gomorra fugiram, alguns dos seus homens caíram nos poços e o restante escapou para os montes.
