E ntonces Saúl dijo: “Así dirán a David: ‘El rey no desea dote (compensación) alguna, sino cien prepucios de los Filisteos, para tomar venganza de los enemigos del rey.’” Pero Saúl pensaba hacer caer a David por mano de los Filisteos.

Saul said, Say this to David, The king wants no dowry but a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to avenge himself of the king’s enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the Philistines’ hands.
