E ntonces David corrió y se puso sobre el Filisteo, tomó su espada, la sacó de la vaina y lo mató, cortándole la cabeza con ella. Cuando los Filisteos vieron que su campeón estaba muerto, huyeron.

Then David ran, stood over the Philistine, took his sword, drew it out of its sheath, killed him, and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.
