E ntonces uno del pueblo le dijo: “Tu padre puso bajo estricto juramento al pueblo y dijo: ‘Maldito sea el hombre que tome alimento hoy.’” Y el pueblo estaba desfallecido.

Then one of the people spoke and said, Thy father straitly charged the people with an oath, saying, Cursed be the man that eats any food this day. And the people were faint.
