E ntonces vino el ángel del Señor y se sentó debajo de la encina que estaba en Ofra, la cual pertenecía a Joás de Abiezer. Y su hijo Gedeón estaba sacudiendo el trigo en el lagar, para esconderlo de los Madianitas.

Yahweh’s angel came, and sat under the oak which was in Ophrah, that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite. His son Gideon was beating out wheat in the wine press, to hide it from the Midianites.
