l as aguas que venían de arriba se detuvieron y se elevaron en un montón, a una gran distancia en Adam, la ciudad que está al lado de Saretán. Las aguas que descendían hacia el mar de Arabá, el Mar Salado, fueron cortadas completamente. Así el pueblo pasó hasta estar frente a Jericó.

that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho.
