T omó, pues, Josué toda la tierra de acuerdo con todo lo que el Señor había dicho a Moisés. Y Josué la dio por heredad a Israel conforme a sus divisiones por sus tribus. Entonces la tierra descansó de la guerra.

So Joshua took the whole land, just as the Lord had told Moses. And Joshua gave it as a gift to Israel, a share for each family group. Then the land had rest from war.
