S i no hubiera temido la provocación del enemigo, No sea que entendieran mal sus adversarios, No sea que dijeran: “Nuestra mano ha triunfado, Y no es el Señor el que ha hecho todo esto.”’

Had I not feared the provocation by the enemy, That their adversaries would misjudge, That they would say, “ Our hand is triumphant, And the Lord has not done all this.”’
