S in embargo, la muerte reinó desde Adán hasta Moisés, aun sobre los que no habían pecado con una transgresión semejante a la de Adán, el cual es figura (símbolo) de Aquél que había de venir.

Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the likeness of Adam's transgression, who is a figure of him that was to come.
