E charon la sonda y hallaron que había 20 brazas (36m) de profundidad. Pasando un poco más adelante volvieron a echar la sonda y hallaron 15 brazas (27m).

They let down the lead weight and found the water was not very deep. After they had gone a little farther, they found there was not as much water.
