A lgunos de la multitud pensaron que se trataba de Alejandro, puesto que los Judíos lo habían empujado hacia adelante. Entonces Alejandro, haciendo señal de silencio con la mano, quería hacer su defensa ante la asamblea.

And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand and would have made his defense unto the people.
