P ero los Judíos instigaron a las mujeres piadosas (religiosas o devotas) y distinguidas, y a los hombres más prominentes de la ciudad, y provocaron una persecución contra Pablo y Bernabé, y los expulsaron de su región.

But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region.
