C on cuerdas humanas los conduje, con lazos de amor, Y fui para ellos como quien alza el yugo de sobre sus quijadas; Me incliné y les di de comer.

I led them with ropes of human kindness, with ties of love. I lifted the load from their neck and went down to feed them.
