T e hablé en tu prosperidad, Pero dijiste: ‘No escucharé.’ Esta ha sido tu costumbre desde tu juventud, Que nunca has escuchado mi voz.

I spoke unto thee in thy prosperity; thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy way from thy youth, that thou hearkenedst not unto my voice.
