C uando llegaron a Mara no pudieron beber las aguas de Mara porque eran amargas. Por tanto al lugar le pusieron el nombre de Mara (Amargura).

And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter; therefore the name of it was called Marah.
