E n cada una de las provincias y en todo lugar donde llegaba la orden del rey y su decreto, había entre los Judíos gran duelo y ayuno, llanto y lamento. Muchos se acostaban sobre cilicio y ceniza.

In each and every province where the command and decree of the king came, there was great mourning among the Jews, with fasting, weeping and wailing; and many lay on sackcloth and ashes.
