P orque nuestros padres han sido infieles y han hecho lo malo ante los ojos del Señor nuestro Dios, Lo han abandonado, han apartado sus rostros de la morada del Señor y Le han vuelto las espaldas.

For our fathers have not been faithful. They have done what is bad in the eyes of the Lord our God. They have left Him and turned their faces away from the house of the Lord. They have turned their backs.
