P ero a sus hijos no les dio muerte, sino que hizo conforme a lo que está escrito en la ley en el Libro de Moisés, tal como el Señor ordenó: “No se dará muerte a los padres por culpa de los hijos, ni se dará muerte a los hijos por culpa de los padres, sino que a cada uno se le dará muerte por su propio pecado.”
