E ntonces hablaron al rey de Asiria: “Las naciones que ha llevado al destierro a las ciudades de Samaria, no conocen la costumbre del dios de la tierra; por eso él ha enviado leones entre ellos, y es la causa por la que los leones los matan porque ellos no conocen la costumbre del dios de la tierra.”

Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast carried away, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the law of the god of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the law of the god of the land.
