E ntonces Abner envió mensajeros a David de su parte y preguntó: “¿De quién es la tierra? Y que dijeran también: Haga su pacto conmigo, y mi mano será con usted para traer a usted a todo Israel.”

And Abner sent messengers to David on his behalf, saying, Whose is the land? And that they should also say, Make thy covenant with me, and, behold, my hand shall be with thee, to bring about all Israel unto thee.
