J acob llegó sin novedad a la ciudad de Siquem, que está en la tierra de Canaán, cuando vino de Padán Aram, y acampó frente a la ciudad.

When Jacob came from Padan-aram, he arrived safely and in peace at the town of Shechem, in the land of Canaan, and pitched his tents before the town.
