W hen the Ashdodites arose early the next morning, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the ark of the Lord. So they took Dagon and set him in his place again.

A doua zi, Asdodenii, cari se sculaseră dis de dimineaţă, au găsit pe Dagon întins cu faţa la pămînt, înaintea chivotului Domnului. Au luat pe Dagon, şi l-au pus înapoi la locul lui.
