T hus the word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out to meet the Philistines in battle and camped beside Ebenezer while the Philistines camped in Aphek.

¶ Y Samuel habló a todo Israel. Por aquel tiempo salió Israel a encontrar en batalla a los filisteos, y asentó campamento junto a Eben-ezer (la piedra de la ayuda), y los filisteos asentaron el suyo en Afec.
