S aul camped in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon, beside the road, and David was staying in the wilderness. When he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness,

وَعَسكَرَ شاوُلُ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ إلَى تَلِّ حَخِيلَةَ مُقابِلَ يَشِيمُونَ. وَكانَ داوُدُ فِي الصَّحراءِ. وَوَصَلَهُ خَبَرُ أنَّ شاوُلَ قَدْ خَرَجَ إلَى البَرِّيَّةِ لِيُلاحِقَهُ.
