T hen all the people said to Samuel, “ Pray for your servants to the Lord your God, so that we may not die, for we have added to all our sins this evil by asking for ourselves a king.”

Et tout le peuple dit à Samuel: Prie l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour tes serviteurs, afin que nous ne mourions pas; car nous avons ajouté à tous nos péchés le tort de demander pour nous un roi.
