H e said to them, “Pursue them, for the Lord has given your enemies the Moabites into your hands.” So they went down after him and seized the fords of the Jordan opposite Moab, and did not allow anyone to cross.

Ê-hút nói cùng chúng rằng: Hãy theo ta, vì Đức Giê-hô-va đã phó vào tay các ngươi dân Mô-áp, là kẻ thù nghịch các ngươi. Chúng đều theo người xuống chiếm cứ các chỗ cạn sông Giô-đanh, là đường đi đến Mô-áp, cấm không cho ai đi qua.
