N ow the appointed sign between the men of Israel and the men in ambush was that they would make a great cloud of smoke rise from the city.

وَقَضَى اتِّفاقُ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ مَعَ الكَمِينِ الرَّئِيسيِّ بِأنْ يُصعِدُوا إشارَةَ دُخانٍ مِنَ المَدِينَةِ.
