T he Lord, the God of Israel, gave Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel, and they defeated them; so Israel possessed all the land of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that country.

Însă Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel, l-a dat pe Sihon şi pe toţi oamenii săi în mâna lui Israel. Ei i-au învins şi astfel Israel a ocupat tot teritoriul amoriţilor care locuiau în această ţară.
