T he house of Joseph spied out Bethel ( now the name of the city was formerly Luz).

فَقَدْ أرسَلَ بَنُو يُوسُفَ رِجالاً يَستَكْشِفُونَ مَدِينَةَ بَيتِ إيلَ. وَكانَتِ المَدِينَةُ تُدْعَى سابِقاً لُوزَ.
