I , John, your brother and fellow partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

Eu, Ioan, fratele vostru, care sînt părtaş cu voi la necaz, la Împărăţie şi la răbdarea în Isus Hristos, mă aflam în ostrovul care se cheamă Patmos, din pricina Cuvîntului lui Dumnezeu şi din pricina mărturiei lui Isus Hristos.
