T hey returned to Joshua and said to him, “Do not let all the people go up; only about two or three thousand men need go up to Ai; do not make all the people toil up there, for they are few.”

Când s-au întors la Iosua, i-au spus: – Nu e nevoie să înainteze toată oştirea pentru a ataca cetatea Ai, ci doar două sau trei mii de oameni. Nu mai obosi toată oştirea, fiindcă acolo sunt puţini oameni.
