T hen I brought you into the land of the Amorites who lived beyond the Jordan, and they fought with you; and I gave them into your hand, and you took possession of their land when I destroyed them before you.

V-am dus prin regiunea amoriţilor care locuiau la răsărit de Iordan. Aceştia au luptat împotriva voastră, însă Eu i-am dat în mâinile voastre şi i-am nimicit dinaintea voastră, iar voi le-aţi ocupat ţara.
