T he sons of Merari according to their families received twelve cities from the tribe of Reuben and from the tribe of Gad and from the tribe of Zebulun.

وَنالَ المَرارِيُّونَ بِعَشائِرِهِمِ اثنَتَي عَشْرَةَ مَدِينَةً مِنْ قَبائِلِ رَأُوبَيْنَ وَجادٍ وَزَبُولُونَ.
