J oshua captured all the cities of these kings, and all their kings, and he struck them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed them; just as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded.

Iosua a învins toate cetăţile acestor regi şi pe regii lor odată cu ele, trecându-le prin ascuţişul sabiei. Le-a distrus cu desăvârşire, aşa cum poruncise Moise, robul Domnului.
